New Port Gives For a Good Cause

New Port Duty Free announces today that we will be participating in the upcoming Charity Auction organised by the Lutheran Care Community Service (LCCS). As part of our corporate social responsibility effort, New Port is donating products from our range of some of the world's finest wines and spirits. Items that will be featured in this event's auction include Teso La Monja's Alabaster, retails at $1200, Vinedos Sierra Cantabria's Finca El Bosque, retails at $800 and one of Scotland's finest exports, the Tomatin Decades Single Malt Whisky which retails at $600.

"We believe in giving back, so our corporate social responsibility efforts have been increasing over the years. We've actively audited any and all opportunities to return something back to society whenever it presents itself to us. If there's no doubt that the cause is worthy, we'll participate whichever way we can. In this case our fit was perfect. We have a range of very fine wines that I believe will benefit a fund raising effort of this nature." Donald Tan, Managing Director of New Port Duty Free.

The event will be held on Saturday, 8 September 2012 at the Ritz Carlton Millenia and will be graced by Guest-of-Honour, Deputy Prime Minister Teo Chee Hean. LCCS is hoping to raise some $500,000 through selling corporate tables, donations and also the Charity Auction.
